Intermediate Sea Kayak Skills

Moving to moderate water skills.

You have completed the the introduction to sea kayaking and are looking to progress your skills. Why not work toward the  Sea Kayak Award ?

This  course  will help guide you towards  the correct decision-making and personal skills with which you can plan an enjoyable and successful journey on the sea.

You will look at the key environmental factors that will influence your decisions on where to paddle. Together, you and your Coach will work on getting you confident to paddle in winds up to force 3, tides up to 1 knot and in tidal or non-tidal environments. 

Sea kayaks and associated equipment can be supplied.

Bring along a packed lunch and a change of clothes or a wetsuit.

Small group size for that personal experience.

Prices are per person  (courses run with a minimum of 2 and max of 4 persons)
